The 43-year-old posed for the camera with dance partner Pasha Kovalev, with the pair telling fans that they had just had a healthy lunch and were ready to go back to rehearsals.

However, Chizzy insisted: “I’m not [ready]. I’m tired. I think I’m done for the day.”

The Holby City actress then screamed: “Just kidding, I could go a few more hours!”

As Chizzy continued to yell into her phone, Pasha begged: “Put your phone down, let’s dance!”

This year’s Strictly Come Dancing contestants have been taking to social media this week to keep their followers updated on how their training for the first show has been going, with Gemma Atkinson uploading a short video this afternoon.

The clip showed her dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec, 27, patiently mending her shoes which had broken due to their intensive practicing.

“I’ve been dancing so much,” she said, explaining why the soles had come away from the top of the shoe as Aljaž carefully daubed superglue onto them.

Looking up to see her filming him, the dashing Slovenian dancer then slipped, getting the glue onto his hand.

The video showed him panicking and throwing the shoe down as he jumped up, rushing out of the room shouting: “I need to wash my hands!”

Gemma simply laughed at his dramatic reaction, however, captioning the upload: “Never in my life have I seen such panic of a superglue spillage.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns September 23 on BBC One.
