Natalie Joy Garagiola and Edward John Longosz III were married Dec. 16 at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington. The Rev. Msgr. W. Ronald Jameson performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Longosz, 27, is a marketing coordinator in Washington for National Geographic Partners, which owns National Geographic and other magazines, as well as affiliated television networks. She graduated from the University of San Diego.
She is a daughter of Noel N. Garagiola and Joseph Garagiola Jr. of Scottsdale, Ariz. The bride’s father is the senior vice president for standards and on-field operations at Major League Baseball in New York. He was the general manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks from 1995 to 2005.
The bride’s grandfather, the late Joe Garagiola. was a former Major League Baseball player and sportscaster and a host on the “Today” show from 1967-1973 and again from 1990-1992.
Mr. Longosz, 31, is the director of scouting operations for the Washington Nationals. He graduated from the University of Richmond in Virginia.
He is a son of Vickie S. Longosz and Mr. Longosz II of Great Falls, Va. The groom’s mother is a senior attorney for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development in Washington. His father is the member-in-charge on the board of directors and executive committee and the chair of commercial litigation for the law firm Eckert Seamans in Washington.
