The 55-year-old was chatting to Holly and their guest, Paddy McGuinness, when the blonde bombshell struggled to get through the autocue about the competition.

The ITV presenters decided to give Paddy, 44, a bash at reading the autocue, but it seemed that he was feeling slightly cheeky.

Take Me Out’s Bolton-born presenter joked that the competition would give the winner “£7” a month, when it would actually be “£7,000”, in a gag aimed at Holly who made the same slip-up earlier.

Paddy joked that he “was sacking himself on air”, but the joke wasn’t over there.

Phillip went for the punch line, after deciding that enough was enough, yelling: “Can nobody do this job?”

The silver fox proceeded to storm off the set while Holly sat and giggled at the chaotic scene.

Viewers were in hysterics and flocked to Twitter to comment on the hilarious This Morning episode.

One wrote: “Omg!!! Phil walks off set in a huff.”

Another added: “#ThisMorning is just the best when @hollywills and @Schofe are presenting.”

A third laughed: “@PaddyMcGuinness on #thismorning chaps a legend poor @Schofe and @hollywills are falling apart.”

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10.30pm.
