The second season of the Netflix and CW series is back to the streets of Riverdale next week after a mid-season hiatus.
From the gloomy Evergreen Forest to the neon-tinged parking lot of Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe, Riverdale is as delightfully grim as it is scenic.
To the untrained eye, Riverdale appears to be a quaint little community with white picket fences, a great high school football team and not a single bother in the world.
But behind the thinly veiled facade, is a town divided by crime, masked killers, drug smuggling, gang warfare and social barriers.
Thankfully the reality of it is that the entire town is spread across various filming locations in Canada’s British Columbia (BC), and Riverdale only exists on screen.

The classic American diner is shot on location in a studio parking lot in Langley, BC, although the pilot episode was filmed at Rocko’s Family Diner in Mission, BC.
You can visit the diner yourself on 32786 Lougheed Highway. Rocko’s boasts a selection of 420 delicious milkshakes and burgers to satisfy those late night munchies.

Where is Betty’s home filmed?
The Cooper residence is a small, white hose filmed on the streets of New Westminster, in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia.

Where is Veronica’s home filmed?
Since returning to Riverdale with her mother in season one, Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) has lived in the posh Pembroke apartments.

Where is Cheryl’s home filmed?
The sprawling Blossom mansion is perhaps the most ominous of locations in Riverdale, having housed the secret Blossom drug empire.
The victorian manor was filmed at two different properties. One of them is the beautiful Copper Stone Mansion in South Langley and the other is the Cecil Green park House at the University of British Columbia.
Meanwhile Blossom Maple Farms, which housed the family’s entire drug operation, was filmed at an idyllic red-barn farm in Aldergrove near Langley.
Some viewers might recognise it as the same fair that featured as the Kent farm in Smallville.

Where is Sweetwater River filmed?
Sweetwater River is where the lifeless body of Jason Blossom was found and where all of the trouble on the series seemingly began.
But far from the fog-ridden forests seen on Riverdale, the show was filmed at the exquisitely beautiful Alouette Lake reservoir in Maple Ridge, BC.
The picturesque location sits at the foot of the Golden Ears mountain range and is protected under the Golden Ears Provincial Park.
