Brooke lost out on winning Dancing on Ice 2018 to Jake Quickenden in the final which aired on Sunday night.
The Coronation Street star has since been reminiscing about her time on the ITV show and shared snaps of herself with Matej, in which she admitted she will miss him.
She captioned the photos, which were shared to her 678,000 Instagram followers, with the words: “I can honestly say it’s been nothing less than a pleasure!! I’m going to miss your nuisancey self and your dawdling personality!
“You’ve always got a friend in me!! Thank you Matej.”(sic)
During the day, Brooke had posted videos on her Instagram story of Matej visiting the Coronation Street set.
She said: “I come to work and again he’s here he wants to have a look around to see where I work.”(sic)
One of the clips showed Matej attempting to get inside the Rovers Return, but Brooke wasn’t too impressed, as she wrote alongside the clip: “Stick to the ice mate.”
On the American skater’s Instagram, the star revealed he spent his last day in Manchester with Brooke to say those “bitter goodbyes”.
Speaking to the camera to his 12,100 followers, he said: “It’s not really a goodbye, it’s a little, ‘See you soon’. So Brooke definitely going to miss you. Hopefully see you in New York.”
On Sunday night’s final of Dancing on Ice when the winner was announced as Jake, Brooke teased her rival and took a huge swipe at him.
Speaking to co-host Phillip Schofield, she laughed: “First the worst, second the best!
“Well done to Jake and Vanessa. Are you sure it’s not a fix?”
After enjoying the Dancing On Ice afterparty, Brooke took to the airwaves yesterday to speak out about the “fix” and not winning.
Speaking on Key 103, she said: “Do you know what? I’m okay. I thought I’d be absolutely gutted!
“But my mum and my family and just everyone backstage has just like picked me up every week and swept me up.
“It was such a good experience. Last night I just made sure I enjoyed my skates.”
Dancing On Ice is available to watch on the ITV Hub now.
