The couple share two children together, Peter and Susan Bowen, and have two grandchildren.

Jim was born in 1937 and was adopted by couple Joe and Annie Whittaker.
The star’s real name was Peter Bowen and he was an English stand-up comedian, best known for presenting darts-based gameshow Bullseye.
Before becoming one of the public’s favourite presenters, Jim completed two years’ national service and went on to become a PE teacher in Lancashire.
The father-of-two began his comedy career on the club circuit in the 1960s and later landed other roles on the small screen.

The comedian had three strokes in recent years.
In 2011, he suffered from one stroke at home and a second while in hospital.
He had a third one in November 2014, the result of which left him struggling to walk.
Jim revealed at the time to The Mirror: “I’m doing very well. It’s five years since I had my first stroke, my progress has been slow but steady so my speech is roughly back to speed and I can walk with a stick and everything.”
