Kay Burley, a newsreader and presenter for Sky News, shared a video of herself training at a gym with her 7,000 Instagram followers.
She captioned the post: “Goodbye Easter bunny. Hello torture queen @tanyasprunks.”
The 57-year-old news anchor hit the gym shortly after the Easter weekend in a yellow sports bra and a pair of skintight leggings.
Working on her upper body strength, Kay proved to have incredible endurance when she performed pull ups on one of the exercise machines.
Grimacing as she carried her own body weight, Kay displayed great muscle strength despite clearly feeling some strain in her forearms.
Standing close by Kay was her personal trainer who encouraged the presenter to keep going, saying: “That’s nice Kay, deep breaths. Looking good!”
Tanya’s kind words seemed to spark a reaction from Kay as she showed absolutely no signs of slowing down or giving up.
In a second clip the pair were seen in front of a full length mirror, with Kay holding onto two weights as she worked on her arms.
Kay’s impressively taut stomach and slender waist was impossible to miss during her weight lifting routine, with many of her fans rushing to the comment section to compliment her.
One admirer wrote: “Fabulous six pack, doing good Kay,” while another added: “@kayburley_ you honestly look incredible.”
A third praised: “Excellent Kay, you’re looking really good,” and a fourth said: “Wow your tummy is so flat.”
Others couldn’t believe how strong Kay was, with one commenting: “That is friggin impressive.”(sic)
Another penned: “Very inspiring for us over 50s to know that we still have abs and they are in there somewhere.”
Kay has worked as a news anchor for Sky News since 1989, but started her career working at her local BBC radio station in 1985.
She has been divorced twice and shares son, Alexander Kuttner, with her second husband, football agent Steven Kutner, who she was married to for a year.
In 2011 she wrote her first novel, First Ladies, a romance fiction, which was set in the media and television industry.
A year later she released her second book, Betrayal, which like her first novel was based around the journalism industry.
Sky News airs weekdays from 6.30am on Sky.
