How to watch Westworld season 2 online

Season two of Westworld will be airing on Sunday, April 22 on HBO in the US.

British viewers can watch the episode on Sky Atlantic at 2am on Monday, April 23 when it will be simulcast in the states.

The simulcast follows in the footsteps of fellow HBO show Game of Thrones, which was done in an effort to cut down on illegal downloading.

Audiences can also watch Westworld at 9pm on Monday, April 23 when Sky Atlantic will be repeating the episode.

Westworld will be broadcast in a similar format each week.

There are a total of 10 episodes in season two, just like the first run.

Fans can stream episodes of Westworld season two online on video-on-demand service NOW TV.

Some fans can start a 14-day free trial, which will give them access to the first couple of episodes of the new run.

However, in order to watch the entire second cycle of Westworld, subscribers will need to pay a monthly fee.

What will happen in Westworld season 2?

Season one of Westworld ended in a bloodbath after the hosts gained consciousness and started wiping out the board members of Delos Destinations, the company behind the amusement park.

There was chaos as Westworld was put on high security alert as the now super intelligent host Maeve Millay (played by Thandie Newton) decided to stay and find her daughter.

The second run is likely to be picking up from the events of the shocking finale and see the hosts gain further consciousness.

Fans will see how the hosts will deal with their newfound self-awareness and see if they will try to escape from Westworld for a life outside the park.

As fans will remember, the hosts had an explosive implanted in their spinal cords that would detonate should they ever try to leave the park and required a complete rebuild if they wanted to remove it.

It seems likely that fans will see Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright) continuing his own journey after he was told in the last season that he in fact a host built in the image of Westworld’s co-creator Arnold.

There have theories that fans could finally see some of the other worlds that belong to Delos Destinations, including Samurai World which was briefly visited towards the end of season one.

Is there a trailer for Westworld season 2?

Yes, there have been several teasers and trailers that have been released this year to whet fans’ appetites.

A recent trailer for Westworld was dropped by HBO and showed chaos reigning supreme as it looked like a battle between the hosts and the surviving board members was beginning.

On top of that, it looked like Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) was out for revenge as her lover Teddy Flood (James Marsden) asked: “Is this what you really want?”

Along with the hosts, the Man in the Black Hat (Ed Harris) appeared to be as vicious as ever as he vowed to burn the amusement park to the ground.
